You will leverage your CAD experience and skills to transform initial rough product designs into working documents, and modify existing designs to improve the product. By applying established standards, guidelines and specifications, you will ensure the quality of the engineering drawings and models, and participate in the design review process.

Focus of Position:

Design of parts & assemblies
CAD work/3D
Interaction w/shop floor and engineers
Create and maintain BOM's and new items (parts & assemblies)
Create solutions to practical design problems
Resource to other Designers

YOU MUST HAVE

2 year/Associate Degree in design or Technical
Minimum of 2 years design experience

Thorough understanding of design principles (tolerance, stack ups, manufacturing principles & capabilities)
Understanding of part function
Detail orientation
Basic problem solving
Functional use of 3D modeling software, preferably Autodesk INVENTOR and VAULT
