General Description of Position:

Ivy Tech Community College is a community based technical college which places primary emphasis on excellence in the classroom instruction. Faculty members are expected to demonstrate and maintain competence in each of the following areas throughout their employment at the college.

  Minimum Qualifications:
  A qualified applicant must have significant experience working with a neurologically based patient population.
  PTAS 101, 106, 107, 201, 202, 217 (Specific to lab portion of the course) Course Standard:
  PTAS 217 (Specific to lab portion of the course) Course Standard:
  A qualified faculty member teaching PTAS 217 laboratories meets the Physical Therapist Assistant program standard or meets all of the following three criteria:
  
  
• Possesses an earned associate or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution, and
  
• Holds professional licensure or certification in the field, and
  
• Has a minimum of one year full-time post-licensure clinical practice.
