Job Description:

Shift hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm JOB DESCRIPTION: 1. Resolve drawing issues and/or make changes for the shop floor immediately. 2. Resolve material issues for customer orders. 3. Resolve and make corrections for: -Bill of Material Errors -Missing/Unclear Dimension(s) -Clarification on Drawing Notes 4. Drawing changes will require appropriate ECN's to track and record the changes made. 5. Make drawing updates in the PDM software 6. Resolve questions on common/duplicate components 7. Engineering Support for Procurement dealing with vendor changes. 8. Resolve assembly questions. 9. Find missing information/answering questions as they arise on the shop floor. Designs new products and makes improvements to existing products using CAD software. Works with other members of the engineering staff to ensure that drawing/BOM changes are completed in a timely manner. Requires an associates degree or higher in area of specialty or 2-4 years of experience in a related area. Familiar with a variety of mechanical concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
