We are seeking an energetic Director with innovative ideas and creativity who has a passion for student career development and success to provide leadership in the implementation of our new multi-year professional development program. In this position, you will have the opportunity to change the lives of our students both while at Ball State and beyond as they pursue their professional careers. Your leadership will be instrumental to organize, lead and facilitate the course activities, and externally oriented activities that engage community, alumni and professional partners as mentors and employers.

POSITION FUNCTION

Direct and oversee the new SOAR (S= success; O=opportunity; A=acumen; R=readiness) program. The overarching goal of this program is the preparation of our students for career success which will directly contribute to increased student enrollment and retention.

MINIMUM EDUCATION

Master s degree from an accredited institution.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

One year of experience in student programming and business curriculum.

MINIMUM OTHER

Exemplary communication and collaboration skills.

AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN THE US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

PREFERRED EDUCATION

Master s degree in business from an accredited institution.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Three years of experience in student programming. Experience working with organizations and faculty in a business-school setting. Supervisory experience.
