Overview: The Muncie Downtown Development Partnership (MDDP)
Executive Director is responsible for developing and promoting
resources, partnerships, and initiatives that advance the community
and economic vitality of downtown Muncie for the benefit of entire
city. -This is a full-time and exempt position. Job
responsibilities include but are not limited to: Organizational
outreach and relationship building among existing partners,
including government agencies, funders, community organizations and
private sector retailers/businesses; recruitment of new partners
and funders; oversight of MDDP marketing, communications, and event
management; prioritizing and promoting MDDP's interests, resources,
and initiatives; development and management of operating budgets;
fundraising and grant management. The Preservation Leadership Forum
of the National Trust for Historic Preservation is a network of
preservation leaders - professionals, students, volunteers,
activists, experts - who share the latest ideas, information, and
advice, and have access to in-depth preservation resources and
training.
