Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. -- Summary: The Residential Site Manager is responsible to the Residential QIDP/Program Manager for the supervision and training of residents participating in Hillcroft Services, Inc. supported living program. The Residential Site Manager is responsible for facilitating all facets of training, documentation and coordination of service delivery in the supported living home. This position will focus on life, leisure and academic skills training as dictated by each resident's ISP/PCP. -- Essential Responsibilities: Daily Review agency communications including T-logs, General Event Reports, Secure Communications providing feedback and correcting DSP GERs to ensure accuracy and completion Review Medication Administration Record for completion and accuracy Review client personal money and provide accurate tracking of monies Review and update site schedule on network system to reflect changes and vacancy coverage Provide opportunity, training, and instruction to residents in life skill and academic areas designated by the client's ISP/PCP Ensure proper housekeeping care and minimal equipment damage Ensure residential rules and regulations are followed Administer medications to clients as prescribed and chart in accordance with medication curriculum Weekly Review and provide oversight for Therap documentation including: Client Summary Logs, Objective Data, Behavior Data, Health Tracking Review shift verification sheets and ensure Client Summary Logs accurately reflect shift verification sheets Review and update billing documentation on network system Review medications in home, including PRN supplies and expiration dates (expired and discontinued meds are brought to nursing for disposal) Update Client Specific Training Tracking and verify all staff, providing service, have current Client Specific Training in the setting Create and implement cleaning chart/list for setting Monthly Complete monthly emergency drills and documentation per guidelines Submit client personal monies (with accurate and complete tracking sheets) Complete Environmental Assessments, documentation, and recommend changes to QIDP/Program Manager Complete Monthly Site Manager Document Audit and submit to QIDP/Program Manager Review billing documentation and ensure completion/accuracy by last day of month Facilitate monthly site meeting Ensure monthly medications are acquired from nursing and in home for next month Quarterly Complete Oversight of Home Review and documentation for each staff supervised Attend quarterly meetings with interdisciplinary team for each client As Needed Review staff time sheets and verify hours worked / shift verifications / client summary logs Submit timesheets and copies of shift verifications sheets to QIDP/Program Manager on timesheet days Complete staff development and performance reviews Complete all aspects of the scheduling process, including completing regular schedule, coordinating with Residential Scheduling Coordinator and finding any additional coverage needed. Maintain communication with QIDP/Program Manager in regards to client and staffing needs/issues Implement ISP programs, objectives, BSPs, and Wellness plans Maintain all documentation in home per BQIS guidelines and regulations. Work closely with Residential QIDP/Program Manager and Residential Administrative Specialist in obtaining this documentation for the home. Must be willing to work weekends as well as overtime hours as needed according to departmental or agency needs. Responsible to facilitate and/or provide staff coverage in case of staff absence. Maintain all required trainings and certifications through agency offered scheduled sessions or other outside means Provide all aspects of supervision to DSP-Residential staff assigned to home, including but not limited to: training, coaching, addressing Human Resource requirements, and disciplinary actions as necessary per agency guidelines Report maintenance problems to QIDP/Program Manager and Landlord Coordinate medical, community, and benefit appointments, including scheduling staffing for transportation to and from appointments as appropriate Transport clients to and from activities Maintain adequate supply of groceries in setting and facilitate grocery shopping Other duties as assigned -- Qualifications: Education, training, & experience High school diploma or equivalent --- required Previous experience with MR/ID population (may be documented volunteer time) Previous supervision experience preferred Critical Skills Read, write, and communicate effectively Ability to view a computer screen or other close work less than 18 inches away Basic computer application skills including Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel Other Must pass background checks including: BMV, County criminal history, Indiana limited State criminal history, National criminal history, drug screen, State Nurse Aid Registry, EPLS & OIG Medicaid Fraud registry, and Child Abuse registry check The Star Press.Category: Executive, Keywords: Site Manager
