MHS seeks an innovative leader to guide the daily operations and strategic development of its professional team in a progressive regional integrated healthcare system in the role of Chief Operating Officer. You will be the results-oriented operations leader who will oversee the development and implementation of integrated physical and behavioral clinical programs and services, including the design, implementation and performance of day to day clinical operations. You will provide guidance and counsel to your staff and leadership team and solid advice to the organization and its executives. As their operations expert, you will use your knowledge of trends in the healthcare environment to lead the implementation of contemporary management concepts. You will be responsible for managing the cohesive quality and timely performance of the overall clinical function, while fostering a workplace environment consistent with the values and mission promoted by Meridian 's leadership. As a key advisor to the CEO, you will serve as a senior spokesperson and will represent the CEO and the organization with the community and key stakeholders. You will assure the integration of service initiatives and support systems to achieve the MHS mission and goals. To be the -Ideal Candidate," you will be an experienced leader in integrated community healthcare systems, be passionate about serving people and will have the business acumen to balance competing priorities. A graduate degree in a Health-related field and 5 years senior management experience in related areas is required. Progressive leadership and expertise in integrated community healthcare and proven executive experience are a must. Practice management, behavioral healthcare & hospital leadership experiences and a focus on quality outcomes and LEAN process are highly desired. Experience in a medical system driving the integration of primary and behavioral health care, and a working knowledge and commitment to Recovery and other emerging and promising prevention and treatment practices are a plus.
