On AMU, we utilize a team approach consisting of nurses, physicians, patient care assistants, case managers, and unit support staff. Our care team specializes in the care of stable progressive care patients and medical patients based on acuity levels. 1:4, 1:5 patient ratios with 2 PCAs to assist. We manage cardiac/insulin/heparin drips, respiratory diagnoses (non-vents), renal diagnoses, and more.IU accepts emergency and pending IN or compact licenses to sub.
