Job Description:
Summary/ObjectivePrimary job responsibilities include
supervision, training, and management of clinical staff providing
behavioral health services through outpatient behavioral health
programs at Boundless. Behavioral health services may be provided
in a variety of settings including outpatient, community based,
center based, or residentially based. Working with clients,
parents/guardians, clinical staff, other departments, and community
partners, the Clinical Lead facilitates access to care and
addresses barriers. This role is responsible for providing
training, oversight, and day to day support to clinicians, as well
as clinical supervision to interns and qualified behavioral health
specialists. This position is responsible for ensuring that the
emotional and social needs of the clients are met and maintained on
an individual basis in accordance with policies and procedures, and
current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and
regulations. This position reports to the Administrator and works
closely with all other departments. This is a full-time, salaried
position.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made

functions.Ensure customized and integrated care across assessment
and treatment services by collaborating various departments
including psychiatry, center-based, residential, day services, and
ancillary care services to help clients achieve the best outcomes
at home, school, and in the community.Supervise and manage licensed
behavioral health clinicians within the behavioral health
programOversee service provision including but not limited to,
diagnostic assessments, therapy, psychological testing, case
management, day treatment, and crisis services.Provide intern and
trainee licensure supervision and training to employees as needed,
based on licensure.Train and consult with staff regarding
psychosocial needs that encompass mental health, development, and
diversity of individual clients to increase staff knowledge and
skills, with a focus on evidence-based interventions.Aid in the
professional development, training, and supervision of Behavior
Technicians/Qualified Behavioral Health Specialists and support the
day-to-day operations of the treatment team.Applies advanced
knowledge and consistently exercises autonomy, discretion, and
judgment in development of assessments and interventions.Provide
clinical services to individuals based on scope and clinical
training, including diagnostic assessments, psychological
evaluations, therapy, crisis support, and case
management.Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings with
other professional staff; assesses, develops, implements,
evaluates, and modifies social histories, summaries, and the
individual treatment plan.Completes mandatory reports and
documentation within timelines established and in compliance with
company policies and with applicable local, state, and federal
standards.Mediates issues that arise among clients, families, and
staff.Helps clients and families identify needs and develop a
service plan to meet those needs. Involves clients and families in
treatment planning, encouraging their attendance at care
conferences or with outside providers/professionals.Orients clients
and families to the program, its services, its service limitations,
and clients’ rights.Provides linkage with appropriate community
resources by maintaining knowledge of other systems, making
referrals, and identifying unmet needs (e.g., recreational
transportation, adaptive phone equipment, etc.).Provides clients
and families with crisis management services as needed; provides
clinical supervision and guidance to staff providing crisis
management services.Develops a comprehensive discharge plan in
collaboration with clients, clients’ families, multidisciplinary
staff, and referral agencies.Educates staff about any relevant
state legislation or regulations relating to behavioral health
services.Works closely with intake department and other Boundless
teams to promote quality care, coordination of care, and
integration of clinical services.Meets monthly requirements for
billable hours as established by the department; ensures team is
meeting expectations to ensure financial stability of the
department.Seek, receive, and apply feedback appropriately and
professionally, and work towards goals developed with
supervisors.Communicate by both hearing and speaking in a
professional manner with coworkers, outside professionals, and
parents, and use professional language when describing the
individual and/or behaviors.Responsible for reading and following
the employee handbook and all Boundless policies and
procedures.Responsible for completing and following all trainings
assigned.Train and consult with staff regarding psychosocial needs

professional office environment; however, work in the community
providing services outside of the office may at times be required.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as
computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax

is directly responsible for the supervision of licensed and
unlicensed behavioral health staff within the behavioral health
program.Education, Skills, Experience and RequirementsMaster’s
degree in social work, counseling, or PhD in psychology.Licensed
through the State of Ohio as a LSW, LPC, MFT, or license eligible
in the State of Ohio.2-3 years of behavioral health experience
working directly with individuals.Must be able to function
independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the
ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and support
agencies.Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled,
emotionally upset, and at times hostile clients/family members.Must
possess the ability to make independent decisions when
circumstances warrant such action.Valid driver’s license and
