Job Description Alto Healthcare Staffing is seeking a local contract Physical Therapist for a local contract job in Dayton, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Physical Therapist - Discipline: Therapy - Duration: 10 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, flexible - Employment Type: Local Contract Physical Therapist (PT) – Contract (Developmental Disabilities) Schedule: Flexible, up to 40 hrs/week (part-time applicants welcome) Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: 13 weeks Alto Healthcare Staffing is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide therapy services in a residential and day program serving individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. This role is part of an interdisciplinary team supporting residents in a long-standing community, offering flexibility, collaborative care, and both full-time and part-time options. What You’ll Do - Conduct physical therapy evaluations and ongoing assessments - Develop and implement individualized habilitation plans (IHPs) - Provide therapy in therapy rooms, residential settings, and day program environments - Complete daily documentation, evaluations, and therapy summary reports - Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings to coordinate care - Recommend adaptive equipment, therapy tools, and gross motor activities - Engage families and caregivers in treatment planning when appropriate - Provide services with flexible scheduling, including evenings or weekends if needed What We’re Looking For - Licensed Physical Therapist (or license-eligible) in Ohio - AHA BLS Certification - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities - Strong communication, documentation, and time management skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a care team - New graduates are welcome to apply About Alto Healthcare Staffing Alto Staffing is a professional staffing, placement, and human resource firm that got its start in 2003.
