Description: The Associate Director is responsible for setting
strategies and objectives for his or her area within Indy Device
Assembly and Packaging (IDAP). The Associate Director partners with
other leaders to influence and implement the organization’s
functional agenda, Business Plan priorities, and GMP Plan
objectives for the Site. The Associate Director is responsible for
developing employees as necessary to meet these business
requirements. Key Objectives/Deliverables: Develop, mentor, coach,
and recognize employees within their organization. Develop and
implement business plan objectives Track team performance in
executing and completing objectives Ensure proper resources and
tools are in place to execute team objectives Staff the team with
personnel capable of meeting business needs and objectives Act as
role model in demonstrating Lilly’s core values Build and drive
safety and quality culture within organization Remove barriers that
impact team performance Provide technical input/support, as
required Develop local processes and procedures in accordance with
the FUME system Assure an adequate number of qualified resources to
perform asset management processes Meet the requirements of the
FUME System through execution of local processes and procedures.
Use and encourage Lean tools to achieve success Minimum
Requirements: Recognized strong team leadership, talent development
skills, especially coaching and people development Technical
competence in area of responsibility (typically 5 years experience,
or more) Solid regulatory compliance knowledge (GMP, OSHA, etc.)

Site Goals. Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Engineering
or related field. Other Information: Occasional travel may be

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $123,000 -
$198,000 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
program to eligible employees, including eligibility to participate
in a company-sponsored 401(k); pension; vacation benefits;
eligibility for medical, dental, vision and prescription drug
