tube management - Understanding of hemodynamic monitoring
Description: We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to
join our team in the Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
This unit consists of 23 beds and provides care for a diverse range
of complex cardiac patients, including those needing heart
transplants and ventricular assist devices. Nurses will float as
needed to a cardiac stepdown unit and pediatric intensive care
unit. Every other weekend availability is required. Candidates with
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience are encouraged to apply,
and training will be provided for those without Cardiovascular
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience. The role involves caring
for neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults. Collaboration with
interdisciplinary support teams, including physical therapy and
respiratory services, is essential. A strong commitment to patient
care and safety is required. Floating to nearby facilities may be
necessary, and candidates must be flexible with scheduling. Travel
experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Candidates must work at
least 2 out of 3 major holidays. The environment is fast-paced and
