ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Cardiovascular Surgery Job Details: • Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM • 72 guaranteed hours bi-weekly (13-week assignment) • Call requirements include 1 night per week and every 6th weekend • 2-4 years of cardiovascular experience required • Indiana state license and BLS certification required • Maintain 1:1 patient ratio in 4 OR suites • No floating to other units • Circulate complex cardiovascular and thoracic cases including CABG, AVR, MVR, Ascending Aortic Aneurysms, Aortic Root Replacements, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repairs, Femoral-Popliteal Bypass, Carotid Endarterectomy, AV fistula, Impella placement, Ventricular Assist Devices, ECMO cases, Thoracotomy, and Robotic thoracotomy • Experience with CABG, AVR, MVR, Ascending Aortic Aneurysms, Aortic Root Replacements, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repairs, Femoral-Popliteal Bypass, Carotid Endarterectomy, AV fistula, Impella placement, ECMO cases, and Thoracotomy required • Experience with Ventricular Assist Devices and Robotic thoracotomy preferred • Hospital-provided scrubs • Work with Cerner EMR system Facility: This healthcare facility specializes in advanced cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures, featuring a dedicated 4-suite operating room environment for complex cardiac cases.
