Job Description:
Pathology Opportunity - Dayton, OHPosition Details - Seeking a
Full-Time Pathologist for an evolving practice - Largest private
pathology group in Dayton, Ohio - 13 pathologist, providing
services for a tertiary care 900 bed level 1 trauma hospital,
multiple smaller regional hospitals, independent GI/GU/Heme labs
and a large outreach clinical laboratory. - The full-time
pathologists in the practice are responsible for handling surgical
pathology cases, frozen sections, quick assessments/immediate reads
(CT and US guided biopsies, navigational lung biopsies, EBUS, and
EUS). Cytopathology cases include pap smears, non-gyns, and FNA
Äôs. Clinical laboratory duties include interpretation of
peripheral blood smears, hemoglobin electrophoresis, SPEP, and
UPEP. - Call responsibilities include frozen sections and general
clinical laboratory. - Do not perform autopsies. - Rotate and
provide medical directorships as well as sign out responsibilities
throughout the various locations. - Attend and present cases at
multispecialty conferences including breast, lung, head and neck,
neuro-oncology, gynecologic oncology, and hepatobiliary oncology as
well as general tumor boards. Qualifications: - The applicant must
be AP/CP BE/BC, hold or be eligible for an Ohio license, and be a
permanent resident or US citizen. Compensation/Benefits: - A
