Job Title: LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: LTAC Duration: 11 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 19:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Must have a multi-state compact RN license Certifications: Must have ACLS & BLS certifications Must-Have: - Vent/trach experience - Knowledge of central lines - Preferred wound care experience Description: The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is accountable for providing care to patients. The nurse will utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. Critical thinking skills and scientific judgment are essential for anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of care. Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education is a priority. The nurse will delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff. Direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care will be required.
