This travel RN opportunity offers a dynamic environment managing complex cases such as Tikosyn loading, cardiac drips, post-op drains, and wound vacs. The position requires 12-hour night shifts over 13-week contracts with a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. - Administer medications safely, including IV push, titrate Cardizem, heparin, and manage Amiodarone drips. - Serve as a primary contact for coordinating patient care across hospital departments. - Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety advocacy. - Manage critical care patients, including those with multi-system organ failure. - Support families and patients navigating acute illness and treatment options. - Collaborate in team nursing with RNs and LPNs, managing ratios of 1:56 at night. - Maintain compliance with professional nursing practice models and protocols. Desired Qualifications: - Current RN license with compact state eligibility. - Minimum 1 year RN experience; 6 months in acute care preferred. - Certifications: BLS, ACLS (required), Dysrhythmia Exam (required).
