POSITION FUNCTION

Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Partner, facilitate and oversee UHRS processes such as employment advertising, metrics, annual increase processes, and reports; serve as an HR liaison for assigned client areas. Advise and counsel employees, supervisors, and administrators regarding university policies and state and federal laws and regulations that impact the human resources functions. Provide guidance regarding talent acquisition, retention, classification, compensation and other related Human Resources matters. Serve on and lead HR project teams.

MINIMUM EDUCATION

Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

At least one year of experience (either full or part-time) in an office and/or professional setting, with some experience in human resources.

MINIMUM OTHER

Excellent customer service skills; Ability to interact and communicate with all levels within the organization; Ability to problem solve and adapt quickly to changing circumstances; Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; excellent oral and written communication skills.

AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN THE US

PREFERRED EDUCATION

Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business, Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Work experience in human resources performing work related to the recruitment function. Experience working in higher education or the public sector.
