In line with our commitment to cutting-edge technology and exceptional service, we are seeking a dedicated Cabling Infrastructure Manager for our DCC Communities. This role is critical in designing, managing, and implementing cabling infrastructure solutions required to support AWSs large-scale, globally distributed data centers. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cabling infrastructure projects, from initial design to final implementation, ensuring robustness, scalability, and compliance with industry standards. Lead the planning and execution of all cabling infrastructure projects within specified budgets and timelines. Develop project scopes, objectives, and resources in collaboration with other department leaders. Oversee and approve all cabling designs, installations, and maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with international, national, and local standards and regulations. Collaborate with IT, network engineering, and facilities teams to align cabling infrastructure with broader AWS operational goals. Manage vendor relationships, including selection, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation. Provide leadership and direction to the cabling infrastructure team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth. Expertise in structured cabling systems and data center infrastructure management (DCIM). Strong project management skills with a proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Deep understanding of compliance and safety standards applicable to cabling infrastructure. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead teams. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in design and simulation software such as AutoCAD or Visio.
