Job Description Job Description Flexible Remote Option: This
position will offer the opportunity to work remotely based on
business need and manager discretion. This flexible remote option
allows the manager to determine the schedule and frequency of
remote work on a weekly basis. The expectation of this approach
requires mandatory in-office attendance for participation in
collaborative meetings. Overview: Indiana Public Retirement System
(INPRS’) is among the largest 100 pension systems in the United
States. INPRS serves the needs of approximately over 500,000
members and retirees representing approximately over 1,300
employers, including public universities, school corporations,
public safety, municipalities and state agencies. The Indiana
Public Retirement System is a public pension fund who manages
approximately over $50 billion in assets, making it one of the
largest in the United States. We are located in the heart of the
city, in downtown Indianapolis, near the circle & across the street
from our monumental state house. This position will require Indiana

Your Impact: The Data Governance/Quality Specialist is responsible
for supporting development and governance of the information
management program including the Data Governance Charter, Strategy,
and creation and maintenance of data related policies. This role
provides leadership for INPRS’ focus on governing our data as an
asset. They are responsible for the development of data policies
and procedures and will work closely with other business divisions
to collect, prepare, organize, and analyze data assets.
Additionally, this position assists with the administration of
Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), including
Master Data Management (MDM), and serves as a backup for the
Informatica Integration Developer to ensure continuity of
integration processes and data workflows. This position will also
support the data quality program and creation of data quality
scorecards and KPIs. Essential Duties: Supports the INPRS vision
for business-wide data activities and champions data ownership,
standardization, accessibility and governance including the
information management roadmap Supports the creation and
maintenance of the Data Governance Charter and related data
strategies Supports development of data governance frameworks and
guidelines, including data classification, data ownership, and data
stewardship Collaboratively oversees cross-functional data
governance while ensuring adoption and adherence to data quality
and governance activities Leads efforts to determine appropriate
policy and standards of information management for the utilization,
cleansing and privacy of information assets Provides expertise and
guidance in the administration for data retention policy and
process Provides guidance and training to the business users on
data governance best practices, policies, and procedures Performs
statistical tests on large datasets to determine data quality and
integrity Run data queries to identify coding issues and data
exceptions Supports the development of data quality scorecards and
KPIs Assists with the administration and configuration of
Informatica IDMC components, including Master Data Management
(MDM), ensuring proper functionality and alignment with data
governance standards. Provides backup support for the Informatica
Integration Developer, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and
maintaining integration workflows and data pipelines. Collaborates
with technical teams to ensure Informatica environments are
optimized for performance, security, and compliance with
organizational policies. Monitor and build DQ rules within
Informatica IDMC. Assist with configuration of cleansing assets
within IDM Stays updated on industry trends, standards, and
regulatory requirements related to data governance and recommend
appropriate modifications to existing policies and practices
Support the creation of policies and procedures as they related to
NACHA and other regulatory requirements Performs related duties as
assigned. Job Requirements: Proven problem solving aptitude and
solid understanding of data and its use within the organization
Broad understanding of IT infrastructure and application
interfaces, database concepts, and general IT concepts (e.g.
virtualization, cloud computing, platforms). Must be an adaptable
self-starter. Must be able to juggle multiple projects and organize
time effectively. Ability to produce to an established schedule. A
high degree of organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong critical thinking skills. A commitment to continuous
professional development. Experience working in a team environment
under time constraints. Strong written and spoken communication
skills Experience in the creation and development of policies and
procedures Must have strong collaboration skills working with
technical and business SMEs. At least beginner understanding of SQL
Familiarity with Informatica IDMC platform and its components,
including MDM. Ability to perform basic administrative tasks within
Informatica environments and troubleshoot integration issues.
Willingness to cross-train and provide backup support for
integration development activities. Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in data analytics or
