Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods to various destinations according to schedule Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure the truck is in good working order Comply with all DOT regulations and maintain a clean driving record Accurately complete logs, reports and vehicle inspections using electronic tools and systems Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to report conditions or issues that could affect operations Follow all safety procedures for loading and unloading freight to ensure safety at all times Assist in loading and unloading cargo when necessary Stay up-to-date with weather and traffic reports to ensure safe travel Proficiency in operating GPS and electronic vehicle logistics systems Strong time management and route management skills Excellent physical condition and stamina Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain composure under pressure Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A) Current DOT medical certification Clean driving record
