Job Description Job Description Location: Jackson Center, Ohio Employment Type: 1st Shift, Full-time, temp-to-hire Job Brief Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Shift Supervisor for our client. This role is responsible for partnering with the onsite team to monitor and address safety, quality, delivery, and GMP/PPE compliance; coaching and training contracted employees; maintaining attendance and performance standards; ensuring a clean and organized work area; communicating department conditions and contractor concerns; completing incident and injury documentation. What’s a Typical Day Like? Partner closely with the onsite team to distinguish issues impacting safety, quality, delivery, GMP/PPE for contracted employees and training report to On-site team daily. Serve as a coach to contractors, assisting training associates on all aspects of production pertaining to their position Set a standard of excellence in job performance attendance and adhere to our policies and procedures setting a good example. Maintain a clean and organized work area Regularly required to stand, stoop, kneel, handle objects, tools and controls Update Cell Leader/Managers on conditions of the department such as, Lines being down, Report and complete paperwork for any work-related incident/injuries, Keep general communication about any concerns from contractors reported daily to onsite team. Time clock issues report to On-site team immediately Daily manning sheets sent to onsite team What Are the Requirements of the Job? Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to learn, run, and train on all Plastipak Machines Ability to use excel email, tablet, other office items as needed Must be flexible with schedule (open to working overtime as needed) Ability to work in fast-paced environment. Ability to move or lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel. Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination. Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time Communication skills.
