Job Description:
Clean Harbors, a leader in North American environmental
services, is seeking a dedicated Class A CDL Driver / Equipment
Operator with a TWIC card to join our transportation and logistics
team. This position plays a vital role in our mission to provide
comprehensive environmental, energy, and industrial services,
focusing on hazardous waste disposal and emergency response
solutions. The ideal candidate will operate various types of
equipment and vehicles, ensuring safe and compliant transport of
hazardous materials in alignment with company and regulatory
policies. Operate Class A vehicles and equipment safely and
efficiently, adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations
and company policies. Transport hazardous waste and other materials
to disposal or recycling facilities, ensuring proper segregation
and documentation. Perform daily inspections on equipment and
vehicles to maintain operational readiness and identify any
necessary repairs or adjustments. Respond to emergency spills and
environmental incidents as part of the spill response team,
following all safety protocols. Maintain logs, reports, and records
accurately, submitting them as required by regulatory agencies and
company policies. Collaborate with dispatch and logistics teams to
ensure timely delivery and pick-up of materials. Participate in
ongoing training and certifications to stay current with industry
trends and safety standards. Proficient in operating Class A
vehicles and various heavy equipment. In-depth understanding of DOT
regulations and safety standards for transporting hazardous
materials. Ability to handle and organize documentation required
for transporting environmental waste. Effective communication
skills with a focus on teamwork and compliance. Medical Insurance

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Transportation Worker
Identification Credential (TWIC) card. Hazardous Waste Operations
and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certification preferred.
