Our magnet-designated hospital specializes in multi-specialty patients.Medical Diabetes Unit: This 18 private bed unit, is committed to delivering quality care to adult patients requiring progressive level of care as well as medical level of care. We specialize in the care of acutely ill Diabetic patients. Our unit is one of our hospital's TBAAM (Team Based Acuity Adaptable Model) units. As a TBAAM unit, an interdisciplinary team rounds daily with the clinical nurse in order to provide the best care for that specific patient. Another aspect of the TBAAM model provides for better continuity of care, as we are prepared to care for progressive, as well as medical, level of care, patients. Our unit is even a part of a national research study, one of only four hospitals in the nation that are involved. Apply today to be a part of this innovative unit!Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesRequires an Associate of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.Requires current state of Indiana license as a Registered Nurse.Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
