Job Description:

Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve products, techniques, procedures, and technologies. You will design and develop new ideas and solutions for new product development as well as current products modification and improvements based on in-service issues and market strategy. You are responsible for design and implementation of mechanical parts, subassemblies and product improvementsKey Responsibilities

• Responsibilities:Work in a team environment and maintain compliance to a structured product development process with accurate planning and execution
• Understand and be proficient in the use of engineering documentation, change processes and business systems Perform engineering design calculations
• Determine materials of construction required to fit performance needs of new parts/products that will perform in high temperature furnaces and equipment
• Good understanding of mechanical concepts, design principles and processes
• Understanding of the basic performance principles of combustion air fans and blowers
• Understanding of mechanisms which contribute to air pollutant emissions and ways to reduce or eliminate
• Coordination with lab resources, ability to create detailed test plan with specific test criteria and due dates
• Create/approve technical product literature for ongoing product maintenance
• Work with other cross functions to determine sources for component procurement, recommended manufacturing processes for components, communicate critical quality features, determine manufacturing methods, etc.
• Strong communication skills required with all levels of the organization
• Proven ability to hold people accountable in order to drive results and projects to completionSupport sales on field problems as requiredYOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Physical Sciences (Chemistry or Physics)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with industrial products and applicationsWE VALUE
