We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Externals and
Airframe Integration Engineer to join our team. This role is
pivotal in ensuring the seamless integration of engines and related
systems into various aircraft applications, including business jets
and regional aircrafts. The ideal candidate will possess strong
communication skills, technical expertise, and the ability to
manage relationships with suppliers and customers effectively.

Job Description
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as GE systems engineering / airframe leader and integrator
covering engine externals, nacelles and engine mount systems for
the CF34 family of engines.
Lead product improvements among GE, suppliers and airframers,
acting as a liaison and ensuring that GE meets requirements for new
designs, both in Part 25 and 33 certification spaces.
Coordinate priorities and worklist items among supply chain,
program, and design teams.
Lead resolution of field problems; developing containment actions
for the fleet and permanent corrective action as required.
Support field service engineers worldwide and provide technical
support at airframers for production airframe integration issues,
working closely with program and supplier quality functions.
Remain current in the state of the art within own technical
specialty for new products introduction activity, performance
improvements, cost reductions and problem resolutions
Serve as a recognized leader in defining the state of the art in
own technical specialty in order to anticipate, develop and apply
technology to current and future business opportunities
Protect the Intellectual Property rights of the Company
Function as program manager or Module Leader as Necessary
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced
engineers
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or
university
Minimum of 3 years' experience in systems engineering (related to
Engine systems)
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not

Ability to travel about once per quarter
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior air framer experience, system integration, and
certification.
In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this
understanding to accomplish own work.
In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with
other teams and contributes to the area.
Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different
solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance.
Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve
straightforward tasks.
Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to
solve problems.
Proven interpersonal skills who can provide informal guidance to
new team members.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Established project management skills.
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
