This role is crucial to our success and requires a candidate who is focused, innovative, and has a keen understanding of the manufacturing processes and operations. As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the plant to ensure policies and procedures are followed, increasing production, minimizing unnecessary costs, and maintaining current quality standards. This role is perfect for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for driving efficiency and productivity.Responsibilities:1. Oversee and manage all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing ensuring policies and procedures are followed.2. Develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity.3. Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers' expectations.4. Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.5. Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.6. Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.7. Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff.8. Stay up to date with the latest production management best practices and concepts.9. Commit to plant safety procedures and develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.Qualifications:1. Proven work experience as a Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or equivalent role in the automotive manufacturing industry.2. Proven managerial experience with a minimum of 3+ years in a similar role.3. Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources).4. Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.5. Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processes.6. Ability to create accountability and lead by example.7. Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills.8. Ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels.9. Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.10. Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.11. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.12.
