Schedule: -Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:30AM - 4:30PM
Location: 13000 N Meridian St, Carmel, IN
Primary Responsibilities:
Greet patient when entering the practice
Obtain accurate and updated patient information, such as name,
address, insurance information
Perform insurance verification on the date of service
File and maintain medical records
Confirms and schedule appointments
Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously
Collects co-pays or outstanding balances on the date of service
Perform referral documentation promptly
Performs other duties as assigned -

Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience working within a medical front office
position performing duties such as scheduling appointments,
checking patients in/out, insurance verification, collecting
co-pays and maintaining medical records
Knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) software
Proficient in typing, 50-60 wpm and Microsoft Office
Previous experience and knowledge with medical terminology - -

The salary range for this role is $16.00 -to $28.85 -per hour based
on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including
but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience,
certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum
