Job Description Job Description SUMMARY: This position provides
clinical direction, oversight and supervision to employees
providing mental health and substance abuse services including
prevention, intervention and treatment in various environments.
Ensures clinical documentation is timely, concise and accurate.
Reviews and provides diagnosis, and co-signs documentation as
required for dependent practitioners, ensures ethical standards of
practice are carried out to ensure the emotional and social needs
of clients are met. Plans, implements and monitors service
provision including productivity of each program while providing
support and utilizing evidence-based practices. Mentors, coaches,
and develops external relationships. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate weekly multidisciplinary treatment team and case
conferences. Review clinical documentation including but not
limited to: assessments, treatment plans, counseling, and case
management notes. Facilitate performance improvement activities to
identify opportunities for improvement and provide feedback to
clinicians on an individual basis. Ensure reporting to both
internal and external sources is timely. Reporting may include and
is not limited to the agency, Hamilton County Mental Health and
Recovery Services Board and other clinical data. Data may include
but is not limited to National Outcome Measures, Brief Addiction
Monitors and South Oak Gambling Screen. Develops, implements and
monitors treatment programs in accordance with regulatory
guidelines including but not limited to The Commission on
Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, Ohio Department of
Mental Health and Addiction Services, and UMADAOPs policies and
procedures. Ensures outcomes are measured with all clinicians.
Works in conjunction with Human Resources to recruit, hire,
interview applicants, trains new team members and evaluates
performance through written performance appraisals. Effectively
resolves disputes or challenges, takes corrective or disciplinary
action when appropriate, develops work schedules, monitors work
assignments, use of overtime, and approves leave requests.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal
and external sources. Participates in community relations
activities. Ensures staff compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 and 45 CFR
Parts 160 & 164. Actively participates in regulatory surveys and
ensures team member conformance with regulatory standards. Provides
meaningful field placement opportunities for students. Performs
other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly
supervises clinical staff within the department(s). Carries out
supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's
policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include
interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning,
and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and
disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving
problems. QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in social work. Must
possess and maintain active Ohio licensure. Previous experience in
a school-based services setting is preferred. Strong ability to
lead, develop, mentor and coach clinicians to success Excellent
computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook) PHYSICAL
REQUIREMENTS: Endurance- Sitting 6 hours: Continuous Walking- 1-3
hours: Frequent Standing- 1-3 hours: Frequent
Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling - 1 - 3 hours; Physically able to bend,
stoop, and climb: Frequent Lifting/Pulling/Pushing - Physically
able to lift, pull, and reach 10 - 125 lbs: Frequent
Fingering/Grasping/Feeling - Must have full use of hands to perform
tasks: Continuous Work Conditions: Office work environment Must be
able to work during normal office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
and weekends Valid driver's license and insured automobile
Attendance at UMADAOP meetings, trainings, and community activities
