qualified ER/Trauma RN in Bloomington, Indiana, 47408! Pay
Information $2,625 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ER Holding
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: Minimum of 2 years required, with experience in PCU
preferred License: Valid Indiana or compact nursing license
required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must have
experience with team nursing and delegation. Must be comfortable
floating to inpatient units. Must be able to work with LPNs in a
team nursing setting. Must be willing to work every other weekend
and 2 out of 3 major holidays. Description: This position is for a
nursing role in a dynamic environment. Patients in this unit may
require care from medical-surgical to PCU/stepdown/ICU levels.
Nurse-to-patient ratios can vary from 1:4 to 1:6, depending on
patient acuity and type. This is a boarding unit where patients are
stable and moved out if they become unstable. The unit can expand
from a 4-bed setup to 8-10 beds based on staffing and patient
needs. Team nursing is practiced, with collaboration between RNs
and LPNs. Candidates must have the ability to manage patients with
varying levels of acuity. Strong communication skills and the
ability to adapt to changing conditions are essential. Floating to
other units may be required when patient load is low. All positions
involve shift work, requiring a commitment to flexible scheduling.
The flu vaccine is required; exemptions for medical or religious
reasons will be considered. Candidates must complete modules prior
to starting the role. Total hours per week will vary based on
assigned shifts, generally amounting to 36-48 hours.
