Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Dayton, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,909 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Dayton, Ohio, 45409! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: 1.5 years Patient Ratio Experience: 1:5 License: Any state RN license accepted; compact license now accepted. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, EKG tele competency. Must-Have: Cardiac experience required. Experience with CABG and valve post-op required. Experience in step down or progressive care unit. EPIC experience required. Description: Candidates must have cardiac experience. They should have experience with CABG and valve post-operative care. Past application work history must demonstrate a 1:5 patient ratio experience for step down or progressive care unit. ICU experience does not count towards step down or progressive care unit experience. Candidates should also possess 1.5 years of experience within a level 1 or 2 unit. Travel experience is preferred. Nurses will be required to complete an online EKG tele competency assessment prior to starting the assignment. They must be able to read and interpret cardiac strips. Candidates will need to manage intravenous lines and cardiac drips. Travelers may be asked to float to other specialties as needed, including high-risk respiratory units. Availability to work every other weekend and holiday is necessary. The facility reserves the right to cancel shifts due to low census during the contract period. Travelers must report lab work and EKG/dysrhythmia exam completion within a specified timeframe. No more than 14 days of requested time off are allowed during the contract. Module hours are self-reported to the manager and are billable.
